Glad to hear the NHL finally reached an agreement. Now it is time for the fans to strike! What will the NHL owners and players do to make it up to those of us that supported it's local teams, just to be let down. I, for one, became disgusted when the season was cancelled and will not pay to attend any games, nor will I watch the games on television. During the strike, I found that I have better things to do with my time!

I will not purchase tickets to a game for at least a year. See how they all like it.

FINALLY! I've haven't had any worthwhile sporting events to watch since the Super Bowl, which created one of the most cold and boring winters in history. I'll have my hockey back. My only worry is the actual amount of coverage on TV, but at least there will be some hockey to televise.

Goodenow played chicken and lost. It will likely cost him his job. Players lost a year of income, took a 24 percent paycut and are getting the cap they said they'd never accept. It's good to see the owners didn't blink. I live in a city that used to have an NHL team (Winnipeg Jets), and would like to see it back here. The AHL is good, but it'd be better to see the best of the best playing.

So glad I'll be able to cheer my Devils on again but I remain puzzled why players were blamed for the escalated salaries when the owners bid against themselves to pay them.

I am thinking of buying a new house. Please don't send Bob Goodenow to help me do my negotiating. What a loser!
