Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue hit newsstands Tuesday.

NEW YORK - Supermodels aren’t the only ones posing for Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue.

In addition to 20 models, Olympic medalists Jennie Finch, Amanda Beard and Lauren Jackson, retired slugger Mark McGwire and wife Stephanie, and tennis star Venus Williams are included in the edition that hit newsstands Tuesday.

Finch was a star pitcher on the gold medal U.S. Olympic softball team. The former University of Arizona star pitched two shutouts at the Athens Olympics.

Beard won the 200-meter breaststroke in Athens. Jackson, the WNBA scoring leader and 2003 MVP as a member of the Seattle Storm, won a silver medal with the Australian team in Athens.

Other male athletes in the magazine include Miami Dolphins quarterback A.J. Feeley and his girlfriend, Heather Mitts, a member of the U.S. women’s soccer team; New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson and his girlfriend; and Dallas Cowboys receiver Keyshawn Johnson and his wife.

Williams posed for the swimsuit issue for the first time. Her sister, Serena, appeared in the 2003 and ’04 issues.
