All eyes will be on 19-year-old Michael Phelps in Athens, and for good reason. The swimmer is out to break Mark Spitz's 32-year-old record of seven gold medals won at a single Olympics.

So many athletes, so little TV time. Well, actually, there’s plenty of TV time. But you better be vigilant this month, or you could miss the one heroic, Olympic moment that Bud Greenspan will surely turn into a combination of D-Day and “All My Children.”

Here’s a list of 10 Americans to watch. And by the way, we cheated big time, with several entries. We break the rules, because there’s nothing the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency can do about it.
