Myers battled sprained shoulder last season
Brandon Myers - TE - New York Giants
March 23, 2013 - 1:30 PM ET

New Giants TE Brandon Myers revealed that he played the entire 2012 season with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder.

The bum shoulder is partly to blame for Myers' poor blocking, but he and Giants TEs coach Mike Pope have "talked a lot about" improving it this spring and summer. "It's never fun to go out there and try to block a 300-pound guy with basically one arm," Myers said. "Obviously, my blocking wasn't up to par. That's not an excuse by any means." Myers says he'll be back to full strength by OTAs.
