Erick Aybar will hit second for Angels

Angels manager Mike Scioscia announced Friday that Erick Aybar will open the season as the second hitter in his lineup.
That means that Howie Kendrick will open the season in the sixth spot. It's a nice boost to the value of Aybar, who should see ample opportunities to score runs hitting in front of Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton. He may even see an uptick in his RBI output with Mike Trout constantly on base in front of him.
