CAA controlling top of free agent DE market
Dwight Freeney - DL - Indianapolis Colts
March 22, 2013 - 5:00 PM ET

The Denver Post suggests mega-agent Tom Condon's "home run" scenario would be to have free agent Elvis Dumervil sign with the Ravens, Dwight Freeney go to the Broncos, and Osi Umenyiora land with the Falcons.

The idea is notable because Condon reps all three players. His agency -- CAA -- is controlling the top of the free-agent defensive end market. The Post does suggest agents Tony Agnone and Rich Rosa, who rep free agent John Abraham, could throw the market a curveball by having Abraham sign with Denver. Expect the four free agent ends to have new homes by the middle of next week.
