Fiers hammered for seven runs in loss

Mike Fiers was knocked around for seven runs over just three innings in Thursday's loss to the White Sox.
Fiers was hit hard for the second straight outing, giving up eight hits -- including a pair of homers -- and two walks. His ERA is up to 6.98 for the spring, but he'll enter the season with a rotation spot. Since he relies so heavily on deception rather than velocity, the jury is still out on whether he can replicate his impressive 2012 numbers over the long-term.
