Jackie Bradley has '50/50' shot to make team
Jackie Bradley - OF - Boston Red Sox
March 21, 2013 - 6:15 PM ET

A Red Sox official told Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com that Jackie Bradley has a "50/50" shot to make the Opening Day roster.

"When camp began, he had no shot -- none -- of making the team,'' the source said. "I'd say (now) it's 50-50." Bradley has batted .444/.545/.578 this spring, and with David Ortiz and likely Stephen Drew slated to begin the year on the DL, the Sox are a little light on left-handed bats. If Bradley does make the team, he would start in left field, shifting Jonny Gomes to the DH spot.
