The Lions haven't ruled out using Reggie Bush on returns.
"He can change field position," coach Jim Schwartz said. "(How we use him will) shake out over the course of off-season and training camp and preseason games, but he's certainly a guy that you want touching the football, and any way we can get him touching the football is going to be good for the Lions." Bush hasn't regularly returned punts since 2010. While it's a good idea in theory, it would further expose an ailment-prone player to injury. We doubt the Lions will take that chance with a back they want to anchor their rushing attack.
