The Pistons have no intention to keep Drummond on the bench as a precaution. "If the doctors give him the heads up and everybody's comfortable with it, we'd love to get him back on the floor," coach Lawrence Frank said. The Pistons want to see how Drummond meshes with Jose Calderon and Greg Monroe as they make their plans for next season.
