Pats' 'best hope' for Vollmer one-year deal?

ESPN Boston believes the Patriots' "best hope" to re-sign free agent RT Sebastian Vollmer is on a one-year deal.
With Vollmer facing questions about his back and the tackle market developing slowly, he's certainly nearing "prove-it deal" territory. The Pats would likely be just fine with that, but have also proven adept at locking players up at below-market value for multiple years at a time. Rolling the dice on a three- or four-year deal could pay off in a big way if Vollmer ends up staying healthy.
