Aroldis Chapman went four innings and allowed one run in the Reds 7-6 victory over the Giants Saturday.
There is still no decision as to whether the lefty will start the season in the rotation or the bullpen, but Saturday's start speaks well of Chapman's ability to handle a starting role. Chapman, 25, has a 2.25 ERA this spring. As a closer, Chapman is lights out, but his velocity and strikeout ability could play well every fifth day. Either way he's got value -- it's just about whether that value will come in the form of wins or saves.
