Michael Fiers allowed eight hits and five runs in four innings of the Brewers 9-9 tie with the Reds Saturday.
Fiers wasn't just getting dinked and dunked, either, as he allowed five doubles and a home run. After an impressive 22-start run in 2012 in which he struck out over a batter per inning, there is some question as to whether the 27-year-old can duplicate that success over a full season. Fortunately for the righty, his rotation spot is guaranteed heading into 2013.
