Matt Tuiasosopo went 2-for-4 and hit his second homer of the spring in the Tigers' 3-0 victory over the Cardinals.
Tuiasosopo was mostly written off for a couple of years ago, and if not for the World Baseball Classic taking several players away, one imagines he would have disappeared from Tigers camp without much of a trace. However, after an 0-for-13 start, he's suddenly gone 9-for-19 with four doubles and two homers since March 4. With the Tigers still in search of a right-handed bat for the bench, Tuiasosopo now has a legitimate chance of making the team.
