Brewers optioned RHP Hiram Burgos to Triple-A Nashville.
Burgos had a dominant 1.95 ERA and 153/49 K/BB ratio over 171 innings between three different levels of the minors this past season, but the Brewers will look to get him more seasoning against advanced competition. The 25-year-old right-hander should make his major league debut in 2013.
