Nick Hundley smacked his second home run of the spring on Friday as the Padres fell to the Royals 7-5.
His two-run blast came off Will Smith in the second inning, and was his only hit in three trips on the afternoon. He's swinging a very hot bat this spring, hitting .469 (15-for-32) with a pair of bombs and 7 RBI in his first 12 games. With the suspension to Yasmani Grandal opening the door to everyday at-bats, Hundley could be a worthwhile second catcher in deeper mixed leagues for the first few months of the season.
