Jets sign DT Antonio Garay

Jets signed DT Antonio Garay to a one-year contract.
Garay, 33, was a bit player for the 2012 Chargers, appearing in eight games as a reserve end and nose tackle and getting pushed around against the run. In New York, Garay will push raw youngster Kenrick Ellis for snaps. Garay is more of an interior pass rusher, though he has just 3.5 sacks the past two years.
