Ravens sign Cowboys castoff DE Marcus Spears

Ravens agreed to terms with DE Marcus Spears, formerly of the Cowboys, on a two-year, $3.55 million contract.
Earlier Friday, the Ravens were said to have "serious" interest in Spears. They made the deal happen with the Cowboys' castoff. Spears, 30, has zero pass-rush ability, but can hold his own against the run. He'll be a backup in Baltimore.
