Rays option INF Beckham to Triple-A

Rays optioned INF Tim Beckham to Triple-A Durham.
Beckham just recently returned to action after he was hit in the face with a ball during a drill last week. The 23-year-old batted .256/.325/.361 with six homers and a .686 OPS in 72 games in Triple-A last season and began to get work at second base. While he's no longer considered a top prospect, the Rays could find use for him as a utility infielder.
