Miami 'very encouraged' by Long developments

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are "very encouraged" by free agent LT Jake Long leaving St. Louis without a contract.
Per a league source, however, Long is drawing interest from multiple teams, and is "willing to explore those interests." Long's future appears to be 50-50 between Miami and a non-South Beach locale. The Rams could still very easily sweeten their offer and seal a deal both sides seem eager for.
