Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times writes that Zack Greinke (elbow) "appears to be a longshot" to make his first scheduled start on April 2.
Greinke will play catch Friday, but he's not scheduled to throw off a mound again until next week. He'll likely make, at most, only four appearances this spring, and the Dodgers aren't sure that's enough. The club does have two open dates in the first eight days of the season, so Greinke could get the ball on April 13 when the team first needs a fifth starter. That's assuming he doesn't have any setbacks, of course.
