Derek Holland went five strong innings Sunday in Team USA's 9-4 victory over Canada.
Holland's only real mistake was a home run to Michael Saunders in the second inning. He allowed two runs on four hits and was generally effective, but wasn't nearly as good as Canada's starter Jameson Taillon. The game was a lot closer than the final score indicates. The United States will now advance as the No.1 seed in their pool.
