Seahawks initially worked out Fells as a DE
Darren Fells - TE - Seattle Seahawks
March 10, 2013 - 1:25 PM ET

The Seahawks initially worked out TE Darren Fells as a defensive end last week.

Seattle wasn't impressed with Fells at the position, so they had him run routes. They obviously liked what they saw out of the 6-foot-7, 280-pound former basketball player, and are reportedly anxious to get Fells in pads. Fells faces long odds, but coach Pete Carroll has never shied from a project.
