Eagles, Asomugha will 'amicably' separate
Nnamdi Asomugha - DB - Philadelphia Eagles
March 9, 2013 - 4:55 PM ET

According to Yahoo's Jason Cole, the Eagles and Nnamdi Asomugha remain on track for an "amicable separation."

It's unclear what the holdup is, but Asomugha will be released. Both sides want ' and need ' a fresh start. As a released player, Asomugha would be free to sign with any team if he's cut loose before Tuesday's official start of free agency.
