In a rain-shortened effort against the Royals on Friday, Jorge De La Rosa turned in his best effort of the spring, surrendering just one run on one hit over three innings.
De La Rosa retired the final seven hitters he faced and consistently sat at 91-92 with his fastball. His command in particular was noticeably better, carrying over adjustments he made after his last outing. While it's difficult to roster any Rockies starting pitcher in fantasy leagues, De La Rosa has shown the ability to be an impact arm before, and is certainly worth a look in the later rounds.
