Dolphins re-signed QB Matt Moore to a two-year, $8 million contract.
The move further dilutes a wafer-thin QB market, leaving the likes of David Garrard, Chase Daniel, and Jason Campbell atop what's left. Considering the 2013 draft class, there's never been a worse time to need a quarterback. While it's fair to question Moore for spurning a likely camp competition elsewhere for clipboard toting, the deal makes him one of the league's better paid backups. He'll be collecting $4 million a year, living in South Florida, and not taking hits to the head so long as franchise passer Ryan Tannehill stays healthy. After the deal expires in two years, Moore could reenter free agency at age 31.
