Anibal Sanchez allowed three runs on three hits and a walk over just 1/3 of an inning in Thursday's World Baseball Classic loss to the Dominican Republic.
Sanchez left the game following a rain delay. His line could have been worse, but Cesar Jimenez got a flyout and Carlos Gonzalez threw a runner out at the plate for a double play to end the threat. Sanchez tossed five scoreless Grapefruit League innings prior to Thursday's disappointing showing.
