NFL.com's Jeff Darlington reports the Dolphins anticipate competing with the Vikings to sign free agent Mike Wallace.
The Miami Herald confirms it. To this point, only the Fins have been floated as a likely destination for Wallace. The Vikings could make things interesting, with a similar need for an outside receiver to take the top off of defenses. Miami remains in the driver's seat. GM Jeff Ireland is intent on adding wideout help after underestimating the markets on Vincent Jackson and Pierre Garcon last year, and the Dolphins are sitting on roughly $36 million of cap space. The Vikings have about $15 million.
