Carl Crawford (elbow) to hit off tee Thursday

Carl Crawford (elbow) is expected to resume hitting off a tee on Thursday morning in Dodgers camp.
Crawford is battling nerve irritation in his left forearm that is said to be related to his Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery. The Dodgers can't say for sure when he might be ready to begin playing in games. The 31-year-old outfielder seems highly doubtful for Opening Day.
