Redskins saying they expect to re-sign Davis

The Redskins have reportedly told others that they expect to re-sign free agent Fred Davis.
The 'Skins have spent the offseason trying to soften Davis' market on account of his Achilles' tendon tear. GM Bruce Allen said they "won't know where he's at" until the spring and coach Mike Shanahan said that players "very seldom" come back from this injury at 100 percent. It appears they're angling for an incentive-laden contract that protects the team if Davis struggles in his return.
