NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys are open to trading franchise player Anthony Spencer.
Per Rapoport, the Cowboys "would be happy" to keep Spencer, but aren't against seeing what he could fetch in a market low on pass rushers. We seriously doubt the Cowboys ' who go for it every year ' would deal Spencer after going to great lengths to clear the necessary cap space to franchise him for the second consecutive season. Any theoretical trade partner would also have to be willing to give a player who just turned 29 a long-term deal.
