Fred Davis 'a month' away from ramping up

Free agent Fred Davis (Achilles) says he's "about a month" away from participating in on-field drills, and that his agent has had minimal contact with the Redskins.
"They haven't really talked to him yet," Davis said of the Redskins and his rep. "We're going to find out when free agency starts, I guess." Davis is hopeful of remaining in Washington, but allows he's "gotta be prepared for anything." He admits money will be a factor. We still think he'll most likely re-up with the 'Skins.
