RFA Ivory expecting to be tendered a contract

A source tells the New Orleans Times-Picayune restricted free agent RB Chris Ivory is expecting to be tendered a contract.
Beat writer Larry Holder is "unsure" at which level Ivory will be tendered, but the original-round level is a good bet considering the Saints' crowded backfield. With Mark Ingram, Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas ahead of him on the depth chart, it would have made sense for the Saints to let the injury-prone Ivory walk, but they apparently can't throw in the towel on his talent.
