The Yankees were among the teams in attendance Friday for Chien-Ming Wang's start against Australia in the World Baseball Classic.
It doesn't necessarily mean anything, but the Yankees could be in the market for rotation depth with Phil Hughes (back) a question mark for the start of the season. Wang allowed four hits, walked none and struck out two over six scoreless innings in the win. He's hoping to land a minor league deal by auditioning for teams at the WBC.
