The player rep for Brandon Lloyd has not had any communication with the Patriots this offseason.
Lloyd's $3 million option bonus isn't due until the end of March, so the Patriots have plenty of time. CSN New England reported Wednesday that they're expected to cut ties with the only receiver on their roster with legit NFL experience, leaving behind Matthew Slater, Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Ebert and Andre Holmes. It's a horrible sign for Lloyd that his biggest supporter, Josh McDaniels, can't save him despite a meager $1.9 million 2013 base salary.
