Packers will ask A.J. Hawk to take pay cut
A.J. Hawk - LB - Green Bay Packers
Feb. 26, 2013 - 11:20 AM ET

The agent for ILB A.J. Hawk said he expects to have restructuring talks with the Packers soon.

Hawk's camp seems resigned to accepting a pay cut. He's set to count $7.05 million against the cap in 2013, way too much coin for a two-down inside linebacker. Hawk also lacks leverage as the Packers could save $5.45 million in cap space by simply cutting him.
