DallasCowboys.com considers S Gerald Sensabaugh a candidate for release.
It's the first time we've seen Sensabaugh's name come up in Cowboys cap talks, but no one is safe as Jerry Jones works to get a team that's more than $20 million over the cap in compliance. Releasing Sensabaugh would free up just $1.4 million versus the cap, but provide the Cowboys $3 million in cash if he's cut before the start of the new league year. Sensabaugh did not play at a high level in 2012, but cutting him would create yet another hole for a team primed to have lots of them.
