Rogers allows two runs to Indians split-squad
Mark Rogers - S - Milwaukee Brewers
Feb. 24, 2013 - 10:20 PM ET

Mark Rogers allowed two runs on two hits and three walks over 1 2/3 innings in Sunday's split-squad loss to the Indians.

With the exception of Carlos Santana, Rogers was going up against a lineup of mostly backups and fringe prospects, so it's not a good sign for his chances of winning a spot in the starting rotation. More likely, Rogers will open the season in a long relief role with the Brewers.
