The 49ers are expected to let free agent DT Ricky Jean-Francois test the open market.

They're expected to re-sign fellow free agent NT Isaac Sopoaga for "reasonable" money. Jean-Francois is only 26 and scheme versatile, capable of playing essentially every position in the defensive line whether it's in a 3-4 or 4-3. He's better suited as a rotational player, however, at 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds.
