According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the Rays are "excited by what they see in" Roberto Hernandez.
Olney says Hernandez -- who was formerly known as Fausto Carmona -- has a shot to open the season as the Rays' No. 4 or No. 5 starter. The 32-year-old right-hander signed a one-year, $3.25 million contact in December and could be of value to AL-only fantasy leaguers.
