Brooks Reed may move to inside linebacker
Brooks Reed - LB - Houston Texans
Feb. 21, 2013 - 4:15 PM ET

Coach Gary Kubiak mentioned OLB Brooks Reed as a candidate to fill the Texans' need at inside linebacker next to Brian Cushing.

Inside linebacker was a major liability on Houston's defense last season after Cushing tore his ACL. Bradie James and Barrett Ruud won't be back. "He's very capable of being a stack player, playing inside in a 3-4," Kubiak said of Reed. "That could happen." Reed played a handful of snaps inside in 2012.
