Jaguars will not tag free agent CB Derek Cox

Jaguars GM David Caldwell said the team will not franchise-tag free agent CB Derek Cox.
The team will meet with Cox's agent at the Combine, though, in hopes of retaining him. Cox has proven to be a fine player when he's on the field, but he's failed to play all 16 games in each of the past three years. Cox checks in as our No. 7 free-agent corner in a deep class.
