Bears GM Phil Emery says 2012 first-round pick Shea McClellin will remain at defensive end.
There's been talk of moving McClellin to middle linebacker if free agent Brian Urlacher moves on, but Emery doesn't want to hear it. "Right now he is a d-end. He will remain at d-end." McClellin produced just 2.5 sacks as a situational rusher behind Julius Peppers and free agent Israel Idonije last season.
