Granderson to take fly balls in left field
Curtis Granderson - OF - New York Yankees
Feb. 21, 2013 - 11:20 AM ET

Curtis Granderson will begin taking fly balls in left field on Thursday.

Jack Curry of YES Network writes that this is a "precursor" to Granderson moving to left field and Brett Gardner sliding over to center field. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said earlier this month that he was planning to keep Granderson in center field, but he also didn't rule out the possibility of changing his mind down the road. It didn't take long.
