Yankees general manager Brian Cashman reiterated Wednesday that the club has no interest in free agent right-hander Kyle Lohse.

The topic was brought up because Phil Hughes is currently sidelined due to a bulging disc in his back. If Hughes is unable to start the season on time, the Yankees appear content with going with Ivan Nova and David Phelps with the final two spots in their starting rotation. The Yankees could look for additional depth, but it won't be in the form of Lohse. His market continues to be incredibly quiet because he is tied to draft pick compensation.
