Former Bills TE coach Pete Metzelaars said if he were in charge of the team, he would replace Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Metzelaars was fired along with the rest of the Chan Gailey regime after last season. "Fitz is an average to below-average kind of guy, and unfortunately he made some bad decisions at the end of games and then didn't make plays at the ends of other games we had chances to win," Metzelaars said. "So it's got to start there." For now, the new regime appears set on pitting Fitzpatrick against Tarvaris Jackson and a rookie in a quarterback competition for the 2013 job.
