The Chicago Tribune says the Bears could ask DE Julius Peppers to restructure his contract this offseason.
Peppers won't be taking a paycut after his fifth straight Pro Bowl season. But he's set to count $16.3 million against the cap, a monster number that can be reduced via bonus money. The Bears will need to create some room if they are going to use the $8.3 million franchise tag on free agent DT Henry Melton.
