Teams wary of 'decreased effort' from WR Bowe
Dwayne Bowe - WR - Kansas City Chiefs
Feb. 18, 2013 - 2:10 PM ET

According to SI.com's Don Banks, "many teams" are wary of Dwayne Bowe having a "decreased effort level" should he receive a big pay day in free agency.

Banks counts the Rams among those teams and doesn't expect St. Louis to be in on the bidding. Bowe has never played with a competent quarterback, but still flashed an ability to dominate games when his head is on straight. Unfortunately, teams believe his head isn't on straight enough. Bowe is "competing" with Mike Wallace to be this year's top free-agent wide receiver.
