ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas believes free agent Dwight Freeney "could be a possibility" for the Falcons.
The Falcons don't have a legitimate pass-rusher outside of John Abraham, and Freeney could have strong interest if offered a starting role in Mike Nolan's 4-3 defense. A seven-time Pro Bowler, Freeney is a liability against the run at this stage of his career, but could provide a short-term upgrade to a defensive line that generated just 28 sacks in 2012.
