Straily determined to crack A's rotation

Dan Straily said Friday that he believes he belongs in the Athletics' rotation.
With Brett Anderson, Jarrod Parker, Tommy Milone and Bartolo Colon likely to occupy the first four spots in the rotation, the competition could come down to Straily and A.J. Griffin for the final spot. Straily is coming off an impressive 2012 campaign in which he tallied 222 strikeouts between the Athletics and two minor league levels. Should he succeed in winning that final spot, his high-strikeout upside makes him a very attractive target in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.
